WS-2: Exploring Protocols and Log Analysis in Current Generation of Mobile Network: A 3GPP Standard Compliant

Protocol and Log Analysis is important segment of development of any standard of mobile communication. Thousands of engineers involve on daily basis in this work. This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the protocols governing 5G networks, including the control and user plane protocols like NAS, RRC, PDCP, MAC, RLC and Physical Layer, specified by 3GPP. Through hands-on demonstrations using Wireshark, participants will gain practical insights into analysing network logs and understanding protocol interactions. From initial access procedures to mobility management and quality of service (QoS) mechanisms, attendees will delve into the intricacies of 5G protocol stacks. Whether you’re a seasoned telecom professional or a newcomer to 5G, this workshop offers valuable knowledge and skills essential for navigating the next generation of wireless communications. This workshop is focussed on engineers and managers who wish to get introduced to the world of 5G Protocol Testing and Log Analysis. No coding experience required.
